The Island isn't really an island of course. It's a promontory, also known as St Ives Head - a green and rocky outcrop poking out into the sea and marking the western end of St Ives Bay.

Its like a mini park and has a lovely walk around the island in all weathers - We've often seen seals from there too. Porthmeor beach faces west and is a famous surfing beach. You can sit in the Tate Gallery's excellent cafe, or in the cafe on the beach, and watch surfers all the year round.

Porthgwidden Beach has a cafe open from Easter - they do great breakfasts overlooking the beach and is only 30 seconds from home !! Porthminster has a great beach Cafe too - with great views of St Ives. The Harbour Beach has The Sloop - fantastic pub believed to date from about 1312 A.D., the Sloop Inn is situated right on the harbour front at St Ives with only a cobbled forecourt and road separating it from the sea.

Beach Court is situated at the top of the slipway to Porthgwidden Beach (just 60 yards) and adjacent to Island Car park with views across to St Nicholas Chapel, coast guard lookout and side sea views.

Kitchen diner: Brand New Fully fitted kitchen. Light family sized room With corner bench seat plus chairs (inc. high chair).

Appliances include wash/dryer machine, fridge freezer, microwave, Iron/ironing board, Kettle, toaster oven and hob.

Double Bedroom with Island and side sea views. Includes, Electric heater, TV, Wardrobe, Dresser and Travel cot. Second Bedroom with courtyard View, triple bunk bed - 4ft double at the bottom and 3ft single at the top.
