The Idle Rocks has 33 individually appointed bedrooms and most of them
enjoy wonderful sea views.
Guests can now choose from the following standards of bedroom, Standard, Select, Premier and new Premier Balconette. Bedrooms are located in the original building, Carricknath Cottage and the pretty georgian annexe - Bohella House. Many rooms benefit from features such as sea view, four poster beds; spa bath and seperate shower.
All bedrooms are en-suite and feature welcome tray, direct dial telephone, colour television and hair dryer; some rooms also benefit from video players (pre-recorded video tapes available for hire from reception).
In addition to bedrooms, The Idle Rocks Hotel also has apartments most having sea views. Comprising of two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), open plan kitchen - living room - diner; passenger lift. Included in the tariff - fridge stocked with a breakfast welcome pack on arrival - complimentary dinner for two in our Waters Edge Restaurant

Premier Balconette These rooms are a new addition, being completed in April 04. They benefit from queensize double or twin beds, french doors to a balconette and stunning sea views. Modern bathroom with bath and seperate shower; luxury extras such as bathrobes and slippers. |

Premier These rooms are spacious and each has its own superb sea view, and large bathroom with spa bath and separate shower. All of the rooms are in Carrick Nath Cottage, our character cottage adjacent to the original building. |

Select Rooms
Select rooms are spacious and those located in the Georgian House opposite benefit from the original features of verandas or balconies with either sea or village views, 4-poster beds and some having spa baths. There are 3 in the main building which enjoy sea views.
Standard Rooms
Most standard rooms are in the original building and each is decorated in a cottage style; all have welcome tray, direct dial telephone and hair dryer. Many enjoy sea views.

The
Water's Edge Restaurant
Dinner at The Waters' Edge Restaurant is a special occasion
and the preparation of exquisite food, helped by an abundance of local
produce and the sea on our doorstep, is a great source of pride for the
hotel. 2 AA rosettes awarded by the AA for 14 consecutive years is testimony
to cuisine that consistently exceeds the expectations of our discerning
clientele. 
Our brigade, headed by our Head Chef Damian Broom is dedicated to producing mouthwatering dishes with flair and imagination, making the most of seasonal produce.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated in hues of blue, gold and sand and offers superb sea views from every table.
We also offer 'Simply - On The Rocks' menu offering plainer individually priced dishes - guests are welcome to order 1, 2 or all courses from this menu
