Home Farm

A National Trust property, 400 acres mixed working Farm, consisting of North Devon sucker herd, sheep and corn.

The farm lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with picturesque views of the heritage coast, and the historic village of Boscastle with its pretty harbour.

The footpaths around the farm are linked to Thomas Hardy, famous poet and author. Hardy met his wife Emma at the nearby Church of St Juliots and the spectacular coastline was the inspiration for much of his work.

Boscastle

Boscastle is steeped in history, and set around a protected harbour. There are many fine Inns and restaurants to be found within the village and its immediate surrounds.

During spring and early summer the area is ablaze with colour from the abundant display of wild flowers.

For those who wish to explore a little, the many sandy beaches nearby include Polzeath, Daymer Bay, Trebarwith, Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven. Tintagel Castle, several National Trust houses and gardens, and The Eden Project are all within easy reach.

We hope you enjoy your stay.
