We are in the middle of the Cornish peninsula, between Falmouth on the south coast, and St Agnes to the north, both are only 5 or 6 miles distant, with Lands End 25 miles away. This makes Higher Trewithen the ideal location for your holiday.

There are numerous beaches and coves for those who like swimming and surfing, and for the more energetic who enjoy sailing and boating, there is Falmouth Bay nearby. For a more leisurely pastime there is the County Town of Truro, with its cathedral and shopping centre only 8 miles away.

Other Cornish tourist attractions within easy reach, include The Eden Project, The National Seal Sanctuary, Goonhilly Downs Earth Station, Shire Horse Farm, Falmouth Maritime Museum, Poldark Mine, Carn Brea Leisure Centre, Trelissick Gardens, Pendennis Castle and Flambards Amusement Park.

• Timbers and Weavers. These were originally converted from part of the old farmhouse as year round dwellings, each can accommodate 4/5 people.
• The Barn: A roomy semi-detached cottage built to the rear of the courtyard, to accommodate 6 people.
