Still a working fishing village, Mevagissey retains the charm of the bygone age with its narrow, cobbled streets and passageways. Galleries, pubs, cafes and restaurants cluster around the large, double harbour - at the centre of all village life

Enjoy the sea views, walk the coastal path, relax on the beach at nearby Portmellon or take a fishing trip for mackerel.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a little way inland, at the top of the valley leading down to the village.

Enjoy Spring in Cornwall - visit one of the many gardens nearby, open from mid-February each year.

The amazing Eden Project is only a short drive - or hire a bike, cycle along the Cornish Way through Pentewan valley and on up to Eden. Bike it and you get a good discount on the entry fee at Eden!
