We have fourteen comfortable en-suite bedrooms; single, twin, double and family rooms are available, as well as four-poster bedrooms most with stunning sea views or far reaching country views.

All rooms come with a TV, a radio alarm clock and complimentary toiletries and refreshments. We have wireless internet available throughout the hotel, and a guest lounge with a 37-inch TV.

Each room has been individually named and most have spectacular views over Crantock Bay from which guests can admire the ever-changing moods of the Atlantic Ocean.

However, the bedrooms located at the front of the hotel still enjoy fine views of uninterrupted countryside over Cubert Common, towards the village of Cubert and beyond.

Our hotel boasts an array of prestigious awards; we hold a Certificate of Excellence 2014 from Trip Advisor, with over 100 guests rating us an "Excellent" establishment. The Tourist Board have awarded us with a Gold Award and a 2 star small hotel grading. For 2015 we have again been awarded the gold standard Cornwall Council Chef's award.

Self-catering Holiday Cottage - sleeping 6 people. Welcome to ‘CURLEWS’ – a truly luxurious, self catering cottage for the discerning holidaymaker, situated in Crantock village within a short walk of the village shop, pubs and close to a large sandy beach.

Curlews’ is a spacious property offering extremely flexible, self catering accommodation for six people and, has a travel cot and high chair available on request. Please note, we do not accept dogs or any other accompanying pets within this accommodation.

‘Curlews’ is accessed via a short, tarmac, field track, hidden away from the road, in a peaceful position on the edge of the village. The cottage has a double entrance gate leading to a spacious, flat, brick paviour driveway providing extensive parking for several vehicles.

‘Curlews’ has been designed as ‘Eco-Friendly’ with an Air Source Heat Pump for provision of all hot water and the under-floor heating system. As a result, the cottage is ‘electric only’ utilising low energy lighting and appliances throughout. Most of the living areas downstairs have fitted engineered oak flooring; however, the flooring to the Kitchen Area, Utility Room and Downstairs Cloakroom is all tiled.

Just a few minutes walk and you are on the truly glorious Crantock Beach, with its magnificent expanse of golden sands, ideal for building castles, stretching from the rock pools beneath the West Pentire headland to the tidal estuary of the Gannel. The safe, lifeguard patrolled (during the summer months) beach is ideal for surfing and swimming or just lazily relaxing to the sounds of the Atlantic Ocean waves. Adjoining the beach are sweeping sand dunes and the natural grasslands of Rushy Green beautifully complementing this magnificent section of the Cornish coastline.

Whilst separated from the general bustle of the renowned Newquay and Fistral Beach by the tidal waters of the Gannel, the Fairbank Hotel is still within a five mile drive. However, they can also be easily reached along the Coastal footpath using either one of the small footbridges to cross the estuary, depending upon the state of the tide or, by seasonal small row-boat ferry.

Other Cornish attractions such as the Eden Project, the National Maritime Museum, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and many others are all within easy reach of Crantock. For keen golfers, there are eight 18-hole golf courses within close proximity (don't forget to check our special golfing offer page) and, for cyclists, the Camel Trail is also nearby.
