Cornish Holidays
in Historic Boscastle
The historic village of Boscastle has links with
the famous authors Thomas Hardy, Sir Richard Grenville and Parson
Hawker to name but a few. The little old cottages down the 'Old
Road' to the harbour are a pleasant reminder of times gone by.
Boscastle is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall
or North Devon, there are many historical houses and gardens to
visit, or picturesque villages such as Port Isaac or Clovelly. The
area has a number of golf courses for the more active as well surfing
beaches and cycling.
You may of course just wish to take in the breath
taking scenery of the coastline around our village. It is no wonder
that the area is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty
and was a source of inspiration to famous authors and poets like
Thomas Hardy and Sir John Betjeman.
A favourite destination for return visits with visitors
who have discovered this special part of Cornwall. The village welcomes
guests throughout the year and there is always something to see
or do.
