CastletonCTB logoFalmouth is set in the heart of the Cornish Riviera, known for its mild climate, palms and sub-tropical plants. The coastline boasts secluded creeks, rugged cliffs and miles of golden sands.

Only a few minutes from the Guest House is Falmouth's maze of narrow streets, restaurants, shops and the Prince of Wales Pier catering for boat trips to Truro, St Mawes and the Helford River.

There are lovely sandy beaches in Falmouth, with Swanpool close by for various water sports, Maenporth, another large sandy bay, is located approximately 2 miles away.

ROUND AND ABOUT

Within easy reach of this part of Cornwall there is someting for everyone - be it Cornish maritime and mining heritage, stately homes and gardens, or, for the more energetic, golf, sailing, diving and walking. Fishing trips can be booked from the Prince of Wales Pier. The coastal path around our shores offers scenery second to none and along the way you can discover many sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages. Falmouth is also very convenient as a base for visiting some of the more well known attractions - the Lizard, Land's End, Trebah Gardens, Gweek Seal Sanctuary, Goonhilly Downs and St Mawes and Pendennis Castles. The Eden Project is just one hour's drive away and the new Falmouth Maritime Museum is now open and well worth a visit.

HOW TO FIND US

Travelling via the A39 from Truro to Falmouth, you will pass the ASDA Superstore on your left, continue up the hill to the roundabout. Take the first exit left - signposted Falmouth. Carry on to the traffic lights (Saab/Jaguar garage on the left) and go straight across. Following Town Centre signs, proceed to mini roundabout and take the first exit left into Killigrew Street - Castleton Guest House is on the left half way down the hill.
