Each of Carclaze’s four properties, formerly owned by the Duchy
of Cornwall, have been faithfully restored by local craftsmen using
traditional materials. The carefully chosen interiors and well appointed
rooms complete the high standard of self catering accommodation. They
sleep two, three, four and six people and have all achieved English
Tourist Board four star rating.

Carclaze additionally offers
four acres of grounds incorporating a games room, paddock with adventure
playground and meadow with various ducks, geese, goats and sheep. There
is a personal morning feed run for children. Evenings can be spent having
barbeques within each private walled garden.

Allen and Jean Nicholls, who live in the adjacent farmhouse and have maintained
Carclaze for the last 16 years. This ensures that Carclaze retains the
high standard expected by all its guests.

villages and dramatic cliffs are only a ten minute drive away whilst moorland,
country houses, the Eden Project and numerous renowned restaurants are
