Calamankey is a traditional working sheep farm with a caravan
& camping site holiday center near Falmouth at the base of the Lizard.
It is set in open countryside with views across rolling hills to St Mawes
and the Roseland Peninsular beyond.
Established in 1946
the site is ideally suited for family holidays.
The farm keeps two flocks of Westcountry sheep, Llamas,
horses, working sheep dogs and some poultry which are of constant interest
to children staying on holiday.
Caravans
There are four static caravans on site which can be reserved
in advance by paying a booking fee. The caravans are connected to mains
electricity & water. Blankets and pillows are supplied along with cutlery,
cooking utensils and china. Guests are asked to bring their own bed linen.
Dogs are allowed on the campsite but must be kept under
control at all times and no pets are allowed in the caravans. The caravans
are let weekly from 2.00pm Saturday until 9.00am the following Saturday
between March 31st (or Easter if earlier) and 31st October.

Camping
The campsite is set in a large two acre gently sloping
meadow overlooking open countryside with views across rolling hills to
the Fal Estuary, St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula beyond.
It is licensed for 45 tents and 15 motor caravans/campervans.
There are six mains water standpipes conveniently situated
around the field and below, beside the farm house, are seven Ladies’ and
six Men’s toilets along with wash basins & showers.
There is a chemical lavatory disposal point and a Washing
Room.
People using the campsite are charged
£5.00 per person (children under 13yrs £2.50) per night payable
in advance with no charge for tents, cars or vans.
Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept under control
at all times.
