We are situated above the beautiful, lush valley of Lamorna
and it is a mere 20 minutes stroll down to the cove, where you can sit
and enjoy a morning coffee whilst watching the world go by.
The cove is popular with swimmers and divers, and when the tide goes out
there is sand for the children to play on.
Lamorna is steeped in history and renowned for its artistic connections
and the 'Merry Maidens' ancient stone circle. The village has a pub (which
is just a short walk down a field and along the road), serving lunchtime
meals, and a hotel open to non-residents.
We are ideally situated for exploring the Westcountry
being close to Land's End, the famous open-air Minack Theatre, Penzance,
St. Ives (Tate Gallery) and many wonderful sandy beaches like Sennen and
Porthcurno.
Explore the coast by car and discover the hidden coves, or walk the coastal
footpath to the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole.
Borah Farm Cottages are perfectly positioned for day-trips
to the enchanting Isles of Scilly as we are just 10 minute's drive away
from departure by sea or air.
