Bay Watch House Advertised Self-catering holidays on this page between 2010 and 2015. Situated in the heart of St Ives overlooking the famous surfing beach of Porthmeor. The old town and the harbour are just a short walk away. The house was built in Edwardian times using local granite and slate and has recently been totally refurbished to a very high standard. Many original features remain.

All the main reception rooms and the master bedrooms have sea views of Porthmeor Beach taking in the Island, and the headland called “The Clodgy”.

The ground floor contains:

• A spacious dining room decorated in New England style with a large bay window and sea views, feature fireplace (decorative use only) and seating for 13.
• A further reception room with feature fireplace, TV, 2 armoires and a day bed that can be used as additional TV room or bedroom.
• A comprehensive fitted kitchen with butler sink, 2 pyrolytic ovens, hob, dishwasher and microwave.
• A small utility area with fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
• A twin bedroom with nautical decoration.
• A shower room with a basin and w.c.

The first floor contains:

• A large lounge with a feature fireplace which has been furnished in New England style with 2 large settees, 2 armchairs, a window seat, TV, dvd and music system.
