The Woodside stands in its own grounds in a secluded location away from the noise of the traffic, yet is within five minutes walk of the town centre, its beaches, railway and bus stations.

You can enjoy magnificent views of the harbour and the beautiful coastline from most bedrooms, all public rooms, the gardens and pool-side terrace.

Well situated within the town, Woodside is also an ideal base for you to enjoy the magic of Cornwall all year round.

Open throughout the year, we offer single, double, twin and family rooms that are comfortable, spacious and centrally heated. All bedrooms are en-suite and have a colour television and hot drinks facilities.

You can relax with a drink in our private residents bar or the separate lounge with TV and games area. Why not take a drink out into the garden and savour the views and tranquil surroundings?

If you seek more active recreation, then both the Tregenna short hole golf course and the new Leisure Centre with its superb gymnasium and indoor pool, are within a few minutes of Woodside.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and use the best local produce wherever possible. Our breakfast selection includes traditional English, Continental and Vegetarian options. Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.

How to find us

By Road:
Enter St. Ives via Lelant and Carbis Bay on the A3074. Bear left at the Porthminster Hotel, follow this road around along Albert Road. Take a left and left again onto Talland Road. Continue up this road taking the first left on to Belyars Lane, Woodside is the fourth property on the right.

By Rail, Coach or Air:
If you are travelling by Rail or Coach, both stations are situated just off Trelyon avenue. A taxi from here will take about 2/3 minutes. Alternatively take a 10 minute walk to the Hotel by following the road directions. Our nearest Airport is Newquay which is served by British Airways with direct flights from London - Gatwick, and by Ryan Air with flights from airports around the country.

Tariff - Prices held once again!

Single, double, twin and family rooms are offered subject to availability and receipt of a deposit.
Prices are per person, per night and are inclusive of full English breakfast and VAT at the current rate.
Bank Holidays are charged at high season rates.

Children under 16 sharing a room with two adults are charged at reduced rates.

We cannot accommodate children under five years of age and do not accept any pets.

There is a supplementary charge of £5 per person per night for sea-view rooms & £5 per person per night for superior rooms

We accept weekly bookings (minimum) during July and August but these do not have to begin or end on a Saturday - this could greatly improve your journey times.

Please note that our outdoor swimming pool is no longer open.
