Discover the secret of why guests
return
year after year
A warm welcome and personal attention awaits
you at the Whipsiderry Hotel. Run by the same family for over 35 years.
The Hotel has 20 well appointed bedrooms, some
with lovely sea views, and some at ground floor level.
As hoteliers we are particularly proud of our
traditional and excellent cuisine, extensive wine list. Special diets
and children can always be catered for. The kitchens are presided over
by Lisa and Robert Bridge, our resident chef, and between them they produce
a very high standard of cuisine.
The Hotel is 1½ miles from the centre
of Newquay, and is easily accessible.
The Hotel is situated in an area of outstanding
natural beauty. Renowned for its rugged cliffs, Whipsiderry Beach, from
which the Hotel takes its name, is a safe, sandy beach with interesting
rock pools and coves. It is possible to walk for miles along the golden
sands at low tide.
The
hotel has a very attractive bar lounge, with panoramic views of Porth
Beach and Newquay.
Guests can enjoy the comfort of the bar or
drinks can be taken out onto the patio, where you can enjoy the fine views
in the cool of the evening.
The
Hotel provides various entertainment throughout the week.
Very popular are our Mackerel fishing trips
run by Andy. On nice summer evenings Andy can take as many as four boats
leaving Newquay Harbour for an hours fishing. At the end of the evening
the Hotel cooks the fresh catch for a makerel supper for everybody in
the Bar.
Lisa and Andy Burbidge ensure your stay is
a happy and memorable one.
