St IVES and the LAND'S END PENINSULA

Wheal Squire is situated just six miles from Penzance and St Ives, ten miles from Helston and only three miles from the 'three miles of golden sand beach' at Hayle, with smaller beaches and coves nearby.

A forty minute drive will take you to Land's End.

St Ives is just a 10 - 15 minutes drive away. Here you can enjoy the towns quaint cobbled streets and olde worlde life style. Tate gallery in centre of St Ives, centre of the local art community known and respected worldwide.

This part of Cornwall has many sporting facilities the area is ideal for those wishing to partake in golf, pitch and putt, fishing, swimming, horse riding, skittles and bird watching at the Hayle Estuary. There are also many Historic houses and tropical gardens to browse with many lovely walks.

The village of St. Erth is only half a mile down the hill and has an self service grocery, post office, pub, church and chapel. The main railway station to Paddington is just one and a half miles away.

St Erth attractions include: riverbank walks, small park, fresh water angling. pitch and put.

For nature lovers, there is the stunning beauty of the Cornwall coastal path, the remote splendour of the land's End Peninsula and locally, LELANT SALTINGS, renowned for their bird watching spots for some of the more rare migrating birds on their last stop before their long flight South.
