Trevosper Barn

Trevosper Barn comprises three beautifully presented cottages which sit in a peaceful, private location down a quiet lane that gives a real get-away-from-it-all feeling. Yet, with the A30 within a 1 minute drive, the cottages are in the perfect position for discovering the many delights that Cornwall and North Devon have to offer.

Trevosper Barn boasts uninterrupted views across farmland, valleys and woodland to the craggy tors of Bodmin Moor. It's in a great area for animal lovers with cows, sheep and horses grazing in the surrounding fields. Birds of prey can be seen regularly overhead and swallows dip and dive over the pond all day.

ACCOMMODATION

Trevosper Barn offers 3 very comfortable and fully equipped cottages, all traditional in style but fully modernised. Each cottage sleeps up to 4 people. The cottages were created through the clever conversion of a 300 years old large stone barn. Each benefits from a fitted kitchen and dining area with slate tiled flooring and open oak staircase; a seperate sitting room with Freeview TV and DVD player; two bedrooms and a separate bathroom with shower.

The cottages share a large secluded garden which offers spectacular views across the rolling countryside. This peaceful area is set away from the cottages and has a summer house, a seating area with plenty of furniture, a BBQ and a large fenced fish pond. It is perfect for eating al fresco, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet.

Two cottages have washing machines and in addition we have a fully equipped laundry room with additional washing machine, tumble drier and a rotary line just outside.

The cottages are child friendly and we can provide travel cots, highchairs, stair gates and even a baby bath and a monitor if needed.

We welcome one well behaved family pet. For your pets safety and for the comfort and safety of our other guests we ask that you keep our pet on a lead at all times.

The Shippon The Shippon is a delightful light and airy cottage with sloping ceilings in both bedrooms. It sleeps up to four guests. The accommodation includes: the sitting room is beautifully furnished with wood flooring, an 'electric' log effect stove as well as two sofas (one of which is a sofa bed to accommodate two extra guests if needed) a fully fitted kitchen with traditional slate flooring and dining area two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with full-size bunk beds a bathroom with shower and heated towel rail
The Granary The Granary is a warm and welcoming cottage, which is perfect for families. The accommodation includes: the well furnished sitting room has plenty of natural light, wood flooring, an 'electric' log effect stove, very comfortable seating and a large coffee table, perfect for family games or lots of tea! a fully fitted kitchen with traditional slate flooring and dining area two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with full-size bunk beds a bathroom with shower and heated towel rail
The Wagon House The Wagon House is a lovely cosy cottage, perfect for couples or small families. It comprises: a lovely light sitting room with large window and good views across farmland a kitchen with slate floor and dining area a separate seating area just outside the front door which catches the sun all day two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with full-size bunk beds a bathroom with shower and heated towel rail

LOCATION

Just inside the Cornwall border The cottages are perfectly situated for those holidaymakers who wish to explore Cornwall and North Devon. The North and South coastlines with their wonderful sandy beaches and breathtaking views from the coast path can be reached in under 20 minutes. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan can be reached in 40 minutes, and the nearest garden at Cotehele is only 20 minutes away.

Newquay, Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel, Plymouth and Exeter are all within a 45 minute drive. Even Lands End is only 1.5 hours away!

And with Bodmin Moor on our doorstep there are many wonderful walks nearby. Both seasoned walkers and familes with young children will find a great choice of walks to do in the area.

In a prime fishing location, anglers will have their pick of venues for course, fly and beach fishing. Guy is a keen angler and is always happy to offer advice on the best places to go. Fishing tackle is available for hire.
