Trevelver is a 220 acre mixed livestock farm and is situated on the slopes of the Camel Estuary with magnificent views of the river and countryside. Tucked away from the busy main roads in a area of outstanding natural beauty, it offers the discerning holidaymaker the delights of peace and seclusion. The quiet minor road beside which the farm and cottage stand, leads to Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath. Padstow famous for its seafood restaurant, is a short ferry ride from Rock. There is also a delightful little cove where the farm boarders the water, with easy access across the fields. It is ideal for launching small craft or just relaxing and enjoying a picnic in the sunshine. Trevelver Cottage Trevelver cottage has been carefully converted and tastefully furnished to a very high standard. Still retaining its charm, it stands in its own garden overlooking the Camel Estuary. Sleeps six - one double ensuite bedroom and two twin bedrooms. A front door entering in to the hall, bathroom/wc and shower. A spacious lounge/diner with colour television and video. Open fire, large well equipped kitchen with new fittings and oil fired Aga, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, refrigerator and microwave. All electricity included in terms. Available usually Friday to Friday Places to see and things to do Rock: Sailing, water skiing, swimming, golf at the famous St. Enodoc Golf Course. Polzeath: Surfing, pony trekking, plenty of rock pools. Padstow: Delightful fishing village with harbour, plenty of shops restaurants, approached by passenger ferry across the estuary from Rock. Port Quinn: Old fishing village with delightful cove, ideal for swimming. Port Isaac: Quaint unspoiled fishing village and harbour. Wadebridge: Ancient market town with plenty of antique and craft shops, also a sports centre, cinema and supermarkets. The area is unspoiled and ideal for bird watching, walking, pony trekking, or you can hire a bike and explore the Camel Trail. |
