Situated in 13 acres of peaceful countryside, halfway between Mullion Cove and Mullion village, it is the perfect base for exploring the unique and magical Lizard Peninsula, an area designated as being of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastline, mostly National Trust owned, is truly magnificent, with small sandy swimming/surfing coves and rugged cliffs adorned with wonderful rare plants and flowers. Our 2-3 bedroom cottages sleep 4-6 persons and are inspected annually by South West Tourism. All rooms have electric fires (coal effect, fan or convector) with night storage heater in the living rooms (free off peak electricity for these) and an electric underblanket in every bedroom - to keep you warm and cosy in the winter months. The sitting/dining room areas have fitted carpets, colour TV and video recorder. The kitchens, recently refitted, are equipped with fridge freezer, electric cooker, microwave oven, toaster….. plus a full compliment of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc. The modern bathrooms have a shower over the bath, shaver points, heated towel rail and wall heater. The bedrooms are fully carpeted and bed linen is supplied (mostly duvets). Cots and high chairs are available, free of charge. The swimming pool, open late May - beginning September is heated by off - peak electricity to 75 - 80 F. There are two children's games rooms, one with a 6ft snooker table, the other with full size table tennis plus lots of tourist information. Play area with swing and a field for kite flying and ball games. Laundry room with automatic washing machines and tumble driers. Go through Mullion Village, taking the road to Mullion Cove. Trenance Farm is on the right hand side, about ½ mile from the village centre. Electricity is by £1 coin meter (night storage heating is free). Less than 5 minutes walk across the fields to the cliff top and South West coastal path. Mullion village with its shops, pubs, restaurants, churches and garage is only ½ mile away, as is the post office, art gallery and doctors health centre, whilst closer still is the craft centre where mouth watering chocolates are made. Horse riding is available nearby and Mullion golf course is within 2 miles, where visitors are welcome. Sailing, boating and fishing are all available within a radius of 11 miles, plus there are plenty of tourist attractions to visit on those days when the weather is not so kind. There are many beautiful gardens to visit here, some open occasionally, others open all year round.
