Tremaine Green Self Catering Holiday Cottages are situated between Looe and Polperro, only 3 miles from the spectacular South East Cornish Coast, Cornwall’s Beaches & Smuggler’s Coves. This location allows us to offer exclusive Self Catering Accommodation in Looe, Cornwall.

A mile away is the village of Pelynt where you will find The Jubilee Inn, a 16th Century pub with good food. Other attractions include the Dagger Restaurant, a post-office/village shop & a local butcher’s shop and convenience store.

Fowey & Polruan are only a short drive away. The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan & the glorious National Trust houses & gardens are all within easy reach.

Our 11 Self Catering Holiday Cottages are all prepared to the same high standard, featuring all mod cons. Each has its own unique features and all share the peace and tranquillity of our wonderful hamlet.

HOLIDAY COTTAGES

All our self-catering cottages are well equipped and include a television, radio, DVD player, electric cooker, fridge, microwave oven, toaster, ironing facilities and hairdryer as standard. Holiday cottages sleeping 4 or more have dishwashers and fridge freezers. All our cottages are double glazed and have oil fired central heating. A cot is available for all holiday cottages and all except Mariners Cottage and Carpenters Cottage have space for a folding occasional bed (see useful info). Our Self Catering Holiday Accommodation is graded annually. All Cottages are non-smoking. Details of each self catering holiday cottage are as follows:

Mariners Cottage. Sleeps 2 + cot (1 bedroom)
A single storey holiday cottage, with twin beds convertible to a king-sized bed, bathroom, kitchen-diner-living room. Being on one floor and level throughout it is the most suited of the holiday cottages for mobility disabled persons.

Carpenters Cottage. Sleeps 2 + cot (1 bedroom)
This holiday cottage has one double bed with drapes, bathroom, kitchen-diner and lounge.

Housekeepers Cottage. Sleeps 2 + cot (1 bedroom)
In this holiday cottage you will find one half-tester double bed, bathroom, kitchen-diner and lounge. (A half-tester is a half-canopied four-poster bed.)

Millers Cottage. Sleeps 2 + cot (1 bedroom)
This holiday cottage has one half-tester double bed, bathroom, kitchen-diner and lounge.

Dairymaids Cottage. Sleeps 3 + cot (2 bedrooms)
A self catering cottage with one half-tester double bed, one single bedroom with 3 ft divan, bathroom, kitchen-diner and lounge with real fire.

Cobblers Cottage. Sleeps 4 + cot (2 Bedrooms)
This holiday cottage has one half-tester double bed, one twin bedded room with 3 ft divans, bathroom and open plan kitchen-diner-living room.

Gamekeepers Cottage. Sleeps 4 + cot (2 Bedrooms)
A two bedroom self catering cottage with one half-tester double bed, one twin bedded room with 3 ft divans, bathroom and open plan kitchen-diner-living room with real fire.

Blacksmiths Cottage. Sleeps 5 + cot (2 bedrooms)
A two bedroom self catering holiday cottage with one four-poster double bed, 3 single divans, bathroom, large kitchen-diner and lounge.

Tinners Cottage. Sleeps 6 + cot (3 bedrooms)
A 3 bedroom holiday cottage with one four-poster double bed, one double bed and one bunkroom, spacious bathroom, kitchen-diner, upstairs lounge and downstairs second WC with shower.

Ploughmans Cottage. Sleeps 6 + cot (3 bedrooms)
A three bedroom self catering holiday cottage with one four-poster double bed, one double bed and one bunkroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room with traditional bread oven in inglenook fireplace with real fire.

Farmhouse Cottage. Sleeps 6 + cot (3 bedrooms)
A three bedroom self catering holiday cottage with one four-poster double bed, one twin bedroom with 3 ft divans, one bunk room, bathroom, kitchen-diner and lounge with traditional bread oven in inglenook fireplace with real fire. The original 16th century farmhouse.

Location

Tremaine Green Holiday Cottages are in an idyllic location. Tremaine Green is situated between Looe and Polperro only 2½ miles from the spectacular National Trust SE Cornish coast (Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty). So good we have been a Film Location for Channel 4.

A mile away is the village of Pelynt (pronounced Plint), a medieval agricultural settlement with village shops, a pleasant pub, licensed restaurant, Anglican and Methodist churches, together with a holy well and Iron Age earth works.

Polperro, Looe and Fowey (by ferry) are all within a short distance. Within half an hour’s drive there is an abundance of interesting places to visit. Comfortable day trips will take you to all of Cornwall’s and most of Devon’s picturesque spots.
