Trehane
is a working farm, midway between Boscastle and Tintagel, with
a commanding view of the North Cornwall Heritage Coast. It is
well placed for the serious rambler and the casual walker, and
is clearly marked on the OS Explorer Map 111 ref. 0911898

The warm and friendly atmosphere, created by your
hosts Sarah and Phil, ensures a relaxing holiday. Sarah's interest
in the arts is reflected in the original paintings, ceramics and
other art works around the house. The area is a delight for artists
and writers. Sarah is always happy to share her interest with
guests. Phil welcomes visitors' interest in the farm.

 Sarah
serves excellent, wholesome food, using local produce and bakes
her own bread every morning. The smell of this entices even the
sleepiest holiday-maker out of bed! Sarah will serve vegetarian
dishes on request.Evening meals are available by arrangement,
although there are some fine restaurants in the area and local
inns serve dinners throughout the year.

| Trehane is the ideal base for touring Cornwall
and North Devon throughout the year. The villages of Boscastle
and Port lsaac and the legendary birthplace of King Arthur
at Tintagel are within a short drive. Exploring further afield,
there are stately homes and gardens, medieval castles and
archaeological sites. Sarah has all the information regarding
the opening times of these. |

The new and 3 internationally acclaimed Eden Project
is easily accessible. The Eden Project, the biggest ever botanical
garden, features tropical forests, Mediterranean and temporate
zones. The site, using a redundant clay pit, ccupies a total of
100 acres and involves 10 miles of walkways.

Leisure activities in the area include horse riding,
several excellent, challenging golf courses, sea fishing and a
variety of watersports. Nearby sandy beaches are at Crackington
Haven, Bossiney and Trebarwith Strand.
