Tregrehan Garden Cottages, an unusual blend of Cornish
history and landscape, and kiwi hospitality, provide relaxed holidays
in a magical setting. Magnificent trees soar above the pink granite
estate cottages. Within the Grade II star listed landscape lies
40ha Tregrehan Garden with her 125ft glasshouse.
The cottages and the old House sitting on the perimeter
of the cobbled courtyard have been quietly modernised and restored
in traditional manner.
Their layout gives privacy (each with a private garden) and reassurance
that someone is on hand if needed. All cottages are fully equipped.
Bedlinen, wood and electricity are included in the rent. Cots and
highchairs are available. Natural fibres and ecological products
are used throughout and waste is recycled.
The cottages are open all year. Short breaks are available from
November to Easter (excluding Public Holidays). The Mews (only)
is available for short breaks throughout the year.
Superbly located on the South Coast between Fowey
and Charlestown, and 35 minutes by car to the North Coast, Tregrehan
is a summer destination with tremendous appeal to anyone in all
seasons. South Cornwall is vibrant throughout the year. The region
has entrancing woodland, clay-country and coastal walks. Within
walking distance lies the Eden Project. Fowey, picturesque village,
working harbour, sailing port and estuary, provokes exploration
by boat and foot, and the popular film venue of historic Charlestown,
with its three tall ships, is nearby. The attractive city of Truro
(35 minutes) offers very good shopping, dining and arts.
Tregrehan Garden Cottages are an ideal base for plantsmen
and women from early spring (February) when the Cornish blooms inspire.
The Garden is a garden of recognised merit in the traditional sense
with an on-going collection of known source plants. Many of Cornwall's
great gardens are in close proximity.

Tregrehan Garden Cottages are open all year.
Couples staying in the Coach House or Old Stables
from November to Easter excluding public holidays receive a 5% reduction
in cost.
Short breaks of 3 nights from £195 (Nov-Easter excluding
public holidays) are available in the Mews all year.
Fortnightly bookings – the second week of fortnightly
bookings is reduced in cost by 5%.
We are constantly working on improving energy efficiency,
using natural products and recycling waste. Listed buildings are
not double glazed and we rely on thick curtains and the sensible
use of them and clothing!
