Tregrehan Garden Cottages, an unusual brew of Cornish history and landscape, and Kiwi hospitality, provide relaxed holidays in a magical setting of 19th Century architecture within a 40ha woodland garden. Magnificent trees soar above the pink stone estate cottages. Within the Grade II star listed landscape lies 40ha Tregrehan Garden with her 125ft glasshouse.
The five fully equipped cottages sleeping 2 to 8 are open all year for short and week breaks from £210/3 nights (The Mews, sleeps 2, Nov-Easter excluding public holidays). Beds are made up and fires lit well in advance for your immediate comfort during the colder months. Wood is supplied from the estate. Cots, highchairs and toys are on hand for your children. Play tennis on the outdoor asphalt court. Natural, high quality products are used throughout.
The cottages and old House surrounding the cobbled yard have been lovingly restored in traditional manner. Each has a private garden and reassurance that someone is on hand if needed. We can unload your car, arrange garden walks and professional treatments, and supply locally sourced garden produce and milk.
Superbly located on the South Coast between Fowey and Charlestown, and 35 minutes by car to the North Coast, Tregrehan is an all season family destination with tremendous appeal. The region has entrancing woodland, clay-country and coastal walks and beaches. Within walking distance, lies the Eden Project. Historic Fowey village provokes exploration by boat and foot. The popular film venue of historic Charlestown, with its three tall ships, is nearby. Fowey, Mevagissey, Padstow and Truro all beckon with excellent dining and shopping.
The cottages are an ideal base for plantsmen and women. Tregrehan Garden is a garden of recognised merit with an on-going collection of known source plants. Most of Cornwall's great gardens are in close proximity. Group bookings are available.

The Mews (sleeps 2, open-plan). Regret no pets. Changeover
day Thursday. Short breaks available throughout the year from £210 (Nov-Easter
excl public holidays) 
The sunny, south facing garden of the Mews enjoys sea views between the leaves. Once stabling horses, the old partitions within the Mews, remain intact. A spacious, ground floor, open-plan, studio apartment with king size bed. Fully equipped fitted kitchen. Sofa and armchair enjoy an excellent wood burner with room to sprawl on the rug. Large bathroom with bath, overhead shower and bridle pegs, and toilet.
Note: wood burner, coffee machine, digital TV and DVD, cooker, small fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, garden furniture.
Heating: wood burner, 1NSH, 1 oil-filled heater, 1 bathroom heater and towel warmer, electric blankets.

The Old Stables (sleeps 6+, 3 bedrooms- 2

This large, light and airy cottage spans the first floor of the old stables building. French doors lead from the central kitchen onto a wide balcony on the west side of the building, catching the sun from midday onwards. Outdoor tables and chairs. BBQ area on lawn below. Sitting room with southerly aspect, wood burner, generous central kitchen, 3 bedrooms (1 kingsize bed, 1 double bed, 1 twin), 1 bathroom with overhead shower and toilet, a shower room and second separate loo

The Gamekeeper's (sleeps 4+, 2 bedrooms). Thursday
changeover. Short breaks from 3 nights at £230 (Nov-Easter excl public holidays).
Pets welcome at £15/pet. 
The end cottage of the old carriage house, Gamekeeper's is approached over the cobbled courtyard with woodshed opposite. Front door opens to the kitchen. The stairway from the adjacent sitting room has been renovated to improve light and space. Bathroom and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. Master bedroom with kingsize bed and twin bedroom. An ideal cottage also for dog owners with a high stone wall surrounding the back garden.

An old fashioned snug cottage with one bedroom and double bed, and adjacent modern flat floor shower room and toilet. Fully fitted kitchen and wool carpets. Courtyard, part covered, with interesting climbers.

The Coach House (sleeps 8+, 3 bedrooms). Pets welcome. Friday changeover.
Ideal for 3 generations or two families.
Unusual Georgian architecture characterizes the Coach House. Arched structures of the old home farm and grain mill enclose a large walled garden. The cottage itself has been extensively renovated , exposing the beams in the large kitchen and adding a shower room with loo at ground floor level. Adjacent is a twin bedroom. A short flight of stairs leads to a generous sitting room with wood burner, bathroom with overhead shower and loo, a very large master bedroom with kingsize and extra bed, and end bunk room with extra bed.
