We invite you to relax, feel at home and to enjoy a carefree holiday here with us. Set in a picturesque valley in mid Cornwall, Tregolls is a family run farm of 107 acres, the main enterprise being cattle and sheep with some arable crops. The four cottages have been tastefully converted from redundant farm buildings into well-equipped holiday homes, with the traditional charms of mellow beams and other features. The open-plan living area gives wonderful views of the open countryside, with cows and sheep grazing and the stream meandering through the valley. The bedrooms are downstairs and some have doors leading on to the patio. Tregolls is ideal for the walkers on the 'Saints Way' and cyclists on the 'Camel Trail' or those visitors seeking a short break. Well off the beaten track, Tregolls (Cornish for 'home on the ridge') is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist attractions. A farm nature trail is in an area designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and links up with the Saints' Way Footpath, where wildlife, fauna and flora vary throughout the seasons. For days out and about exploring, we are just a short drive from the rugged North Cornish coast with its sandy beaches, the holiday resort of Newquay with its many attractions and the well-known harbour village of Padstow is approximately 12 miles. The picturesque South coast is about 18 miles, City of Truro with its cathedral and good shopping centre 20 miles and the famous Lands End 50 miles. Cornwall offers a wide selection of quality tourist attractions, ranging from the various Farm and Adventure Parks to the splendour of the National Trust properties of Lanhydrock, St Michael's Mount and Trerice. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a short drive away, with the unspoilt harbour at Charlestown also close by.
