The Minack Theatre

The Minack Theatre is a unique clifftop experience, whether you stay to watch a performance or just go and explore this amazing theatre. Created by Rowena Cade and her gardener Billy Rawlings in 1931 and 1932 The Minack Theatre open air theatre is a spectacular venue in all weathers. It is open daily all year round, with performances from March to September.

Newlyn & Mousehole

The fishing villages of Newlyn & Mousehole are steeped in history but could with two totally different atmospheres. Newlyn is more industrial. Lying next to Penzance, Newlyn's harbour is the home port to one of the largest fishing fleets in the UK. The Jetties and piers have every kind of fishing vessel, from deep sea trawlers to small open boats used for hand lining. The small village of Mousehole, lies less than 2 miles west. The historic village of Mousehole, features an enclosed harbour and small beach it is a safe place for small children to paddle. The narrow streets and alleyways are teaming with gift shops and galleries. A great place to explore.

St Michael's Mount

Lying in the bay, opposite the quaint village of Marazion, St Michael's Mount is a stunning NT property. Whether you walk across the causeway at low tide or catch a boat over you will love exploring this historic island. It's a steep climb up the medieval pathways, through sub-tropical gardens, to the castle steeped in myths and legends but it's well worth the effort.

Sennen Beach (Whitesands Bay)

Situated on the very tip of the Lands End Peninsula, Sennen Beach features over a mile of fine white sand and fantastic surfing this is one of the finest beaches in the UK. You can learn to surf with Sennen Surf Centre, enjoy fine dining at the Beachside Restaurant Children will love rockpooling in the small harbour beach, explore local arts and crafts at The Roundhouse Gallery, and visit Sennen Lifeboat House.
