Situated in the picturesque village of Blisland with its old cottages, pretty church and CAMRA Pub - the Blisland Inn - all clustered round the village green, these beautiful barn conversions and adjacent farmhouse enjoy lovely distant views of the Cornish countryside.

Peacefully located in over two acres of landscaped gardens, they are close to major attractions like the The Camel Trail, Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan and an endless choice of fantastic beaches & coastal paths as well as delightful moorland, woodland and estuary walks!

The Cottages

Self catering from £300 to £900 per week

Torr House and the cottages are delightfully situated being only minutes away from the village green and the western edge of Bodmin Moor with some of the most beautiful and rugged scenery anywhere.

Appletree and Hollyhock were converted from the original granite barn and are furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Both come complete with lovely towels and bed linen. Heating and lighting is naturally included too.

Appletree: Sleeping 4 - the smaller of the two, is suitable for up to four people. It’s cosy, compact and very comfortable and has the most wonderful views from the lounge and kitchen.

The cottage has two bedrooms - one double and one twin, a lounge area with twin sofas and a very well equipped and convenient kitchen/dining area which seats four. There is a lovely bathroom & WC with hand basin (and shaver point), heated towel rail, bath and shower over.

Hollyhock: Sleeping 6

Hollyhock is exceptionally spacious and is fully accessible for wheelchair users being all on one level with no steps. There is a large and comfortable lounge with twin three-seater sofas and a well equipped kitchen/dining area seating 6 with views across the gardens and rear door opening onto the patio.

The main bedroom has a double bed and a full en-suite incorporating WC, hand basin with shaver point, heated towel rail and power-shower. There are two other bedrooms (both with twin beds) and a large, spacious bathroom with WC, hand basin with shaver point, heated towel rail and bath with a shower overhead.

The cottages are centrally heated and both have a TV, VCR, DVD and CD/radio. All bedrooms have either single or double fitted wardrobes. Cycles are available to borrow and there are cots and high chairs. There’s a shared utility room with full laundry facilities, a video/DVD library and plenty of local information. The cottages are situated next to the farmhouse and share over two acres of landscaped gardens with plenty of room for relaxing at the end of the day.

There’s a discreet play area for children with swings and climbing frame. Badminton and croquet are also available. Each cottage has its own private patio, sun-loungers, BBQ and use of a patio heater. In fact, everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

at Torr House

We are very happy to offer B & B in Torr House if you prefer this to self-catering! Although we have a total of four bedrooms, we like to give guests our personal attention and for this reason we only accommodate one group (individual, couple or family) at a time.

There are magnificent views from the main guest bedroom and all bedrooms are exceptionally comfortable with luxury bedding and towels, tea & coffee making facilities and TV. Guests have exclusive use of the toilet and bathroom facilities which are situated close to all bedrooms.

Breakfast is served in our conservatory and your first decision of the day will probably be to decide between full English breakfast (the best anywhere!), kedgeree or scrambled eggs & smoked salmon-all cooked to perfection on the Aga!!
