The
house is available from 3.00 p.m. on your day
of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on your date of departure. Electricity,
gas and water are included in the rent. Telephone,
linen and towels but not beach towels are provided, for which you will be billed
separately. A cot and a high chair are provided
free of charge.. - Dogs are welcome by agreement.

Tomhara was constructed in 2003 to
a high standard and enjoys a wonderful, secluded and sheltered location 75 metres
from Rock beach. The property is very close to Rock Sailing Club, the clubhouse
of St Endoc golf course, Rock sailing and water-skiing and the ferry crossing
to Rock. The house, was given a 5 star rating by the English
Tourist Board and sleeps 12 comfortably although the smallest bedroom
can be used as a TV/snug/playroom. It stands in an elevated position facing south
and enjoys stunning views over the Camel Estuary and the hills beyond. Tomhara
sits in an extremely sheltered position with a terrace and garden to the front,
and a further terraced garden to the rear. The garden is not overlooked and is
surrounded by large, mature trees of various species. There is outside furniture
and a barbecue area. Due to its sheltered position, the temperature in the garden
is often noticeably warmer than the surrounding area. ACCOMMODATION Accommodation
comprises six bedrooms - three doubles and three twin, large kitchen with eating
area (opening out on to deck area), large sitting room, study area, hall, utility
and bathrooms and shower rooms. All rooms have estuary views. A detailed floorplan

north coast of Cornwall and the area around Rock in particular, is an area of
outstanding natural beauty and provides a wealth of activities such as sailing,
windsurfing, surfing, waterskiing, gold tennis and spectacular walking. The coastal
scenery is some of the very best in the British Isles and there are many National
Trust gardens within striking distance. The house is a short ferry ride from
Padstow with its renoCornwall has a long and interesting history and is a renowned
centre for artists. Rock is approximately 4 hours from London by car. The
closest railway station is Bodmin Parkway, which is approximately 10 miles away.
Alternatively, there are daily flights (Ryan Air) to Newquay from Stansted and
Air Southwest from Gatwick to Newquay. By car, the journey is about 15 miles from
the airport to Rock. National Express buses run from Gatwick and Heathrow to Wadebridge
(5 miles away) |
