The Fowey Estuary is one of the most attractive areas of the
South Cornish Coast and is adjacent to miles of open countryside, much of which
is owned by the National Trust. The historic town has a unique
unspoilt charm with narrow winding streets, around the busy estuary, bustling
with sailing craft, fishing boats and freighters transporting china clay around
the world. This substantial Edwardian house stands in a favoured
central position close to the water's edge. It is very near to Whitehouse beach
and the ferry to Polruan and Mevagissey, and also to a good choice of high quality
restaurants and shops. The Eden Project is just a short drive away.
