Beautifully presented Thornleigh is only 2 miles from the coast, an enchanting oasis of calm, it nestles quietly beside an unmade lane in the little hamlet of Carnmeal, close to Breage village. Porthleven harbour, and the historic town of Helston are a 2 mile drive. The attractions of both St Ives, The Helford and The beautiful Lizard Peninsula are a mere 20 minutes away. Breage village has a friendly local pub, The Queens Arms, serving good food and local ales. There is also a Post Office and village store. Bordered by mature trees and shrubs the south-facing enclosed garden is an idyllic retreat inspiring complete relaxation.

This spacious detached cottage provides every modern comfort inside. A kitchen with woodblock work surfaces, slate floor and a range cooker, perfect for creating dinners served around the large dining table.

The generously proportioned sitting room is full of light from the south-facing garden. The décor is calming and natural, with sisal flooring and colours echoing the partially exposed granite walls.

Up the turning staircase there are four pretty bedrooms, two of which overlook the beautiful garden.

Another is dual aspect with views to an old tin mine and across the surrounding fields. One of the two bathrooms contains a relaxing spa bath for a blissful soak.

Thornleigh feels a world away from the busy areas, yet so close to many attractions being 2 miles from the coast and mid-way between the Lizard and Lands End peninsulas, this delightful haven is definitely the stuff of which memorable holidays are made.
