The Old Mushroom Farm is situated 2 miles east of the centre
of Penzance and is an ideal holiday base for exploring the Land's End
and Lizard Peninsulas.
Wonderful golden beaches are within easy reach of both
coasts, either for surfing and water sports, or just relaxing in the sun.
The ancient town of Marazion and St Michael's Mount are
just 2 miles away and the fishing villages of Mousehole and Newlyn only
about 10 minutes by car.
We are close to the heliport for day trips to the Isles
of Scilly, or if you like to walk, we are within easy reach of the coastal
footpath.
The house, built in 1993, is traditionally styled of Cornish
granite and situated in the countryside. It has four bedrooms - a large
double room with en-suite facilities, a room with two single beds (3'),
a room with a double and single bed (3') and another room with a double
bed. Also upstairs, a good-sized bathroom with shower over the bath, toilet
etc.
Downstairs,
there is a long lounge with Freeview TV, a large kitchen with farmhouse-type
kitchen table and 8 chairs, electric ceramic 4 hob, microwave, built-in
oven and full height fridge-freezer. Utility room with washing machine
and sink unit.
The kitchen and lounge both have French doors leading
out onto the south facing patio area. In front is a large grassed area,
as well as, an area suitable for barbecues. There is parking for up to
three cars adjacent to the house. Outside tap available for washing wet
suits and surfboards etc.
