Situated in a designated Area Of Outstanding
Natural Beauty, this property enjoys complete tranquillity and
yet the beach is a ten minute walk away. The area is renowned
for its stunning gardens, coastal walks and its abundance of natural
flora and wildlife. It makes the ideal spot for either a family
holiday or a peaceful retreat away from the normal pressures of
life.
Within a five mile area
there are many pubs and restaurants together with Tregoney
village with various village shops, a doctor and banking facilities.
The barns of Little Polgrain,
built on the North side of the valley facing South they enjoy
an unrivalled valley view towards the beaches and villages of
East and West Port Holland. Each barn has its own private garden
area complete with a patio table and chairs.
The accommodation is comprised of two
well proportioned bedrooms, one super king size bedded room and
one twin bedded room which can be converted into a double bedroom.
The bedrooms are well furnished with Egyptian cotton bedlinen
and tasteful furniture. Both bedrooms have very well appointed
ensuite shower rooms with heated towel rails, large showers and
tiled floors.
The well equipped kitchen incorporates
a washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, full size cooker together
with a fridge and freezer. The kitchen units are of the highest
quality and all the normal fixtures and fittings required are
there. It is located off the central corridor and looks out over
the main courtyard towards the valley while the large sitting/dining
room that was originally the engine house and still contains many
features of its earlier use, faces south across the valley. The
furnishing includes a large dining table and four chairs plus
three seater sofa and matching armchair
a wood burner effect fire and a widescreen sky television system.
Pets are allowed by arrangement with
the owners who live on site and are always on hand should any
help or advice be required.
Internet
access is also available for guests.
Being so close to the sea brings you
onto the South West coastal path that will give you walks and
views of some, if not the best, Cornwall has to offer.
The village and Castle
of Caerhays
are also less than a mile away. The Gardens at Caerhays Castle are stunning and hold the National
Magnolia Collection something not to be missed.
