Accommodation

The Kitchens comprises the lower ground floor of a Georgian townhouse in central Penzance. With a wealth of period features the flat combines character and style with modern facilities.

The Kitchens is particularly suitable for families who want to feel comfortable and relaxed without the worries and inconvenience of most hotels and bed and breakfasts. There are books and toys for children as well as DVDs.

The flat is below the Nixon's own family home (three young children and Ruby the friendly Jack Russell) and whilst being self contained, total peace and tranquility during the day time cannot be guaranteed!

The Kitchens is accessed via the rear courtyard garden through its own private entrance and down a shallow flight of stairs.

It is ideal for two adults and two children. With the use of our comfortable sofa bed it can sleep six at a squeeze. There is also a travel cot for infants.

The main entrance hall has wood panelled walls and terrazzo flooring; there is a large cupboard which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The hall leads to:

The Sitting Room
A spacious room with high ceilings and comfortable sofa bed and chairs. Flat-screen TV and DVD player with a library of films for all the family as well as a range of books and games.

Kitchen
A contemporary style kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, fridge and microwave, dishwasher and table and chairs to seat six. We can provide an evening meal in the fridge for you to warm up if you require.

The Cabin
Ideal for children, this small bedroom sleeps two on bunk beds and has the look and feel of a ship's cabin.
Main Bedroom
A spacious room with a beautiful terrazzo floor, the main bedroom has either twin beds or a 6ft king-size bed, television and radio and a hanging cupboard.
Bathroom
The bathroom is essentially a wet room- with a very generous walk in contemporary shower and a large double ended roll-top bath!
The Garden
There is a table and chairs for your use in the garden.

Penrose Terrace is on the right as you approach the railway station directly in front of The Cliff Hotel on the entrance to Penzance. If you are travelling to the Isle of Scilly we can arrange for your car to be collected by The Isles of Scilly Parking Co. There is on-street parking in local roads and two car parks within 5 mins walk.
