Falmouth can easily be explored by foot from The Guest House. Arwenack Street, the main shopping area of Falmouth, is only a five minutes walk. It has an interesting mix of privately owned shops as well as the usual High Street chains. The art galleries, coffee shops, bistros, pubs and clubs make it a great place to visit.

The National Maritime Museum Cornwall, where Ellen Macarthur arrived after her epic voyage is worth a visit especially for families.
