Self-catering Holiday Cottage in Gorran Haven

Gorran Haven is just South of St Austell, about 15 miles from the 'Eden Project' and about 4 miles from the 'Lost Gardens of Heligan'. The well-known fishing harbour of Mevagissey is also about 4 miles away.

Set in a deep valley on the southeastern tip of the Roseland Peninsular, the village of Gorran Haven is the ideal place for a summer holiday or a winter break. Sandy beaches, beautiful cliff walks and a mild climate - Cornwall at its best. The village retains much of its olde-worlde charm with narrow streets and pretty cottages. The village is surrounded with National Trust managed land which includes beautiful cliff walks, quiet beaches and coves, all totally unspoilt.

Small craft can be easily launched from the beach where good sailing and fishing can be enjoyed; rod fishing is also possible from the harbour wall.

Day to day requirements can be met by local shops, including a General Store, Café, Fish & Chip shop and Beach shops. The local inn - The Llawnroc Hotel, has a children's room and a garden with superb views over looking the coastline. Hot and cold meals are available during opening hours.

The property is called No.1 The Cottages and has all the modern facilities you would expect, (central heating, fully equipped kitchens etc.), but with the cottage feel. It has been furnished to make you feel at home while being on holiday.

Accommodation

No. 1 Cottage - 2 Bedrooms,
(Maximum 4 Adults)

Ground floor: A modern kitchen/diner, fully fitted with electric cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer and automatic washing machine, plus all the utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses for cooking and eating. Lounge with comfortable sofas, colour television, DVD, video and payphone.

First Floor: Bedroom 1 - with 4'6" double bed, duvet and pillows. Bedroom 2 - with two single beds, duvets and pillows. There is also a portable TV. Bathroom with washbasin, W.C., bath with independent electric shower.

The Cottage has:

• Full gas fired central heating.
• Patio area with table and chairs.
• Private car parking immediately outside the cottage.
• There is no extra charge for
  Electric, Gas and Water.
• Linen: Duvets and pillows are provided, as are tea towels and bath mats. Please bring your own duvet covers, pillowcases and bottom sheets plus towels, for the number of people in your party.
