The Commercial Hotel is situated in the centre of St Just in the heart of Penwith and makes an ideal base for visitors exploring West Cornwall.

This small family-run hotel has been in the Woolcock family for generations and is well known locally for its warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and excellent food.

All of our 10 bedrooms have been newly refurbished to a high standards, so you will be assured of a comfortable stay in spacious, tasteful surroundings. All rooms have colour TVs, some with dvd players, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. We offer guests free WiFi broadband connection throughout the hotel. We have a variety of rooms available in order to cater to all requirements. There are drying and ironing facilities available upon request.

If you are dining with us you will not be disappointed. We use fresh local produce wherever possible and are well-known locally for our Sunday roasts and fish dishes. We have a weekly specials board as well as a full bar menu available. Our conservatory/dining room is light and airy and leads directly out onto our beautifully planted patio garden.

This large secluded outside space makes the Commercial ideal for families.

We have 2 spacious bars each with their own very different atmosphere. The lounge bar is quiet and comfortable ideal for a snack or meal. Our "bottom" bar is where you will find our local characters and pool table.

In particular during the winter months you will often find pool darts, or euchre, matches in progress. "Euchre" baffles many of its spectators.

With our large secluded garden and patio. The Commercial is ideal for families. We also offer a children's play area and frequent barbecues in the summer.

How to find us

The Commercial Hotel could not be easier to find. Simply head for Penzance and then take the A3071 road to St Just. The Hotel is in the centre of the town opposite our beautiful old church.
