Andrew, Janice and family would like to extend a warm welcome to the Olde House, with over twenty years experience in providing real Cornish Farm holidays you are certain to enjoy your stay. The cottages and leisure complex are mainly centred around the old farmyard in the heart of the Cornish countryside only a few minutes drive from the coast.

Andrew and Janice have tried to preserve the original atmosphere, providing a peaceful setting for those wishing to escape the pressures of modern living during their holiday. The farm is called 'Penpont' it is a traditional Cornish farm with five hundred acres that has been in the family for three generations. The farm activities include haymaking, harvesting and feeding the animals, guests are welcome to join in the activities associated with a farm of this size.

The area has lots to offer the visitor everything from excellent seafood restaurants (Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant Padstow) in typical picturesque Cornish fishing villages to stately homes and gardens, which are always at their best in the spring.

Our mild climate in the autumn is another reason for those seeking a quieter holiday after the busy time of the main holiday season, the autumnal colours of the coastal path and moors at sunset make a particularly good picture to take home with you.

Traditional family holidays on the beach are just a short drive away, Daymer Bay, Polzeath. If you prefer to be more active the Camel Estuary offer a host of watersports including learning to sail, windsurf and water skiing. Close at hand are a number of good golf courses, bowls clubs and indoor activities such squash and tennis.

A visit to Cornwall would not be complete if you did not investigate the Legendary home of King Arthur and Merlin, or visit the maritime museums in the area, or cycle the Camel Trail to Padstow.

Cornwall has a rich and colourful heritage just waiting for you discover, many visitors come to trace their family roots, visiting the many churches in the area. Whatever your interest it is not far away.

The cottages are fully equipped for all year round occupancy, they are rated at 3 and 4 stars under the English Tourist Council grading scheme. Our cottages sleeps two, four, six or eight people and the larger family cottages sleep 8 people. They are all tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard, the kitchen has the labour saving devices you would expect in cottages of this quality.

We can supply your bed linen and towels for a small extra charge. We do welcome well behaved dogs and there is a small additional charge for them.

The Indoor Leisure complex provides you with a wide choice activities, it has a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool bath, games room with a full size snooker table, a lounge with colour TV and a baby's play area.

Outside we have the children's adventure play area, tennis courts and a huge chess set and board. The pets corner is always a favourite with the younger members of the family and provides an ideal photo opportunity to catch those unforgettable moments. For all the year round use we have a new indoor play barn.
