The Nook - within one half of a larger thatched cottage - has its own entrance and offers complete charm and quaint Cottage character. From the wooden sash windows with window seats overlooking the pretty cottage style garden, exposed beamed ceilings to its large granite inglenook fireplace complete with log burning stove and not forgetting the thatched roof of course! An absolute must for those wishing for a romantic break away

LOCATION

Situated on the edge of Alverton, it is just half a mile from the centre of the market town of Penzance, it is the ideal base to explore the West of Cornwall: with Lands End, Sennen (white sandy beach with superb surf!) and Porthcurno, home to the famous Minack theatre and a beautiful beach in one direction and Marazion, St Ives, The Lizard and The Cathedral City of Truro in another.

The Nook is close to numerous sandy beaches, historical places and outstanding Coastal and countryside walks

Alverton enjoys a local pub offering good food, a village shop, a newsagents and fish & chip shop. Penzance promenade and seafront is just a pleasant 10 minute stroll through the tree lined streets.

A 10 minute stroll to the main Market town of Penzance will find you plenty of good Galleries, shops, restaurants, pubs and for those wanting to experience the nightlife, there are numerous venues varying from live bands to night-clubs.
