Ta Mill is a secluded rural hideaway set in a peaceful hollow of 45 acres on the fringes of Bodmin Moor, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Ta Mill offers high quality self-catering accommodation in this beautiful, tranquil valley in cornwall where you can escape the pressures of every day life.

Uniquely Cornish, surrounded by rolling countryside it is an idyllic place to relax and unwind. A babbling brook meanders through the grounds and continues along the picturesque nature trail where you can soak up the quiet ambience and breathtaking scenery where nature thrives.

Our traditional Cornish cottages each have a character of their own and are all original buildings with original features from centuries past -a delightful combination of stone, slate and exposed beams.

In addition, we offer seven select, detached two bedroomed lodges which are superbly situated and overlook one of the wildlife ponds or have stunning unspoilt views across the valley.

The Location

Magnificent birds of prey can be seen swooping down the valley and nesting swallows are spotted in every corner. ewes and lambs gambol in the surrounding fields and you can get close to new born lambs in Spring. A babbling brook meanders through the grounds, linking Ta Mill’s two wildlife ponds before continuing through a picturesque valley of blossoming gorse and dramatic stone outcrops.

The location couldn’t be more perfect for touring both Devon and Cornwall and is within easy reach of the dramatic Heritage Coastline of North Cornwall and the untamed beauty of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.
