Sumerdaes is an attractive detached house set back from the road, close to the comprehensive shopping facilities in Rock. The house has central heating and an open coal fire in the lounge. There is also a pretty garden with a south facing patio for barbecues ample parking for cars and boats.

ACCOMMODATION

Conservatory and Lounge: From the front door there is a attractive conservatory with cane furniture looking over the pretty front garden, and then the hall leads to the lounge with comfortable sofas and a TV with free view, video and DVD player and an open fireplace.

Laundry Room: The back door leads into the laundry room with washing machine and dryer, and shower. An archway leads to bedroom 4 and 5.

Kitchen and Dining Room: a door leads from the laundry into the large breakfast/dining room, with pine table and chairs seating 8 very comfortably. The kitchen has recently been refitted to a high standard including microwave, dishwasher, double oven and calor gas hob. The house has plenty of attractive crockery, glassware and cutlery.

Bedrooms:

Upstairs:

• Bedroom 1 with 5ft double bed.
• Bedroom 2 with 3ft twin beds.

Downstairs:

• Bedroom 3 with 2ft 6in bunk beds and 1 3ft
  Single bed.
  
• Bedroom 4 with 5ft double bed.
• Bedroom 5 with 2ft 6in bunk beds + cot.

All bedrooms are well furnished with ample wardrobe space, chest of drawers and bedside units, duvets and pillows. Please bring your own duvet covers and pillowcases and towels. There is a company in Rock who will provide linen and we can send you their details if required.

Bathrooms: downstairs there is a family bathroom with bath/shower over, toilet and washbasin, and a separate toilet with washbasin. The laundry room has an electric shower.

PLEASE NOTE: We only let for 8 people + cot. The extra bedroom makes the accommodation more flexible.

LOCATION

Rock could hardly be less appropriately named as its popularity is largely due to the long stretches of find sandy beaches washed by the tidal waters of the Camel estuary. Rightly acclaimed as one of the major watersports centres in Cornwall, sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, canoeing and rowing are all activities which can be carried on in the relatively calm waters of the estuary.
