PERRANUTHNOE VILLAGE |
Perranuthnoe is an unspoiled West Cornish village on the south coast. The south facing sandy beach, ideal for family holidays, is on the west side of Mount's Bay. There are rocky outcrops to both ends of the beach ideal for rock pooling and the Coastal Path runs across the cliffs behind the beach. The village also benefits from a 15th century church and a cosy pub that offers excellent food. |
AROUND PERRANUTHNOE |
The village is an excellent base from which to discover West Cornwall. To the east is The Eden Project at St Austell, Bodmin Moor and the world famous surf beaches at Newquay. Closer by is the Lizard Peninsular, Helford River, Falmouth and the City of Truro. To the north is St Ives and the spectacular beaches at Gwithian. To the west are St Michael's Mount, Lands End, the spectacular open air Minack Theatre and numerous fishing villages and towns including Marazion, Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole. The Scilly Isles can be reached by ferry or helicopter from Penzance. There are four golf courses within ten miles of Perranuthnoe and there are riding stables close by. The coastline offers a selection of watersports including sailing, windsurfing, surfing, kite surfing and diving. There are fabulous opportunities for bird watchers especially at the Marazion reed beds and the walkers will enjoy following the Coastal Path. There are family attractions from the Seal Sanctuary at Gweek to Paradise Park at Hale and Flambards, the Cornish theme park. Please
