St John's House was built in the early 1900's (although part of the property is believed to be older) and has recently been sympathetically renovated to a high standard.

The village has two pubs The North Inn and The Radjel Inn. Both serve food.

The property is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the B3306 between Lands End and St Ives.

There are various attractions in the area. The famous Geevor Mine is within walking distance. It was a working tin mine until 1990. It is now a popular tourist attraction. Pendeen Lighthouse is about a mile away, on a spectacular cliff top setting. From here the coastal path goes west to Lands End or east to St Ives.

St Ives is about 20 minutes away by car but it can also be reached by walking the coastal path along the way you will pass Zennor and the Gurnards Head pub.

The unique Minack Theatre is well worth a visit. This open-air theatre, set into the cliffs at Porthcurno, holds shows throughout the summer. Porthcurno beach is among many popular beaches in the area.

The magical Isles of Scilly are 28 miles to the southwest of Lands End, sitting in the Atlantic Ocean. There are scheduled services by plane from Lands End airport, or by helicopter or boat from Penzance.

St Austell is 49 miles away where you can visit the Eden Project.

There's plenty to keep you busy and the views and coastal walks are quite breathtaking therefore, rather than tell you about them why don't you come and see for yourselves!!

Tim and Noreen offer you a very warm welcome and a pleasant stay.
