Stable Cottage is an enchanting 18th century whitewashed stone cottage nestling in the quiet hamlet of Pengelly at the bottom of Delabole, just a mile off the North Cornish coast.

The cottage oozes traditional Cornish charm with original wooden beams, stone fireplace and wood burner.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms reached by a steep staircase. There is a 5' double bed in one room and 3' bunks in the second bedroom. The beamed sitting room has a TV, and CD/Radio. The kitchen/diner has table and 4 chairs and is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, electric oven, hob and microwave. The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over. There are electric heaters in each room included in the tariff.

There is a small west facing paved garden with table, chairs and BBQ, which is framed with stonewalls hosting a number of lovely alpine plants. There is off-street parking (on-site for a medium sized car/off-site for a large car).

North Cornwall

Delabole is well situated for many activities. The sandy beaches of Polzeath and Trebarwith Strand are just a few miles away and, for those who enjoy really quiet beaches, it is easy to walk to Tregardock Beach that can only be accessed on foot … or boat !

The historic Port Isaac is also close by and Tintagel, Boscastle and Padstow are within easy access.

Other local activities include cycling along the famous camel trail, hiking on Bodmin Moor and the dramatic coastal footpath, surfing at Polzeath, as well as sailing or bird watching along the Camel estuary. Not to mention the world famous St Enodoc Golf Course that attracts many visitors throughout the year and, for fishing enthusiasts, a well stocked trout lake at Delabole.
