Just minutes from the waterside Spinnaker Cottage is a
typical Cornish 'upside down' or reverse level house. The light airy lounge
on the 2nd floor has wood floors and 6 windows including a porthole! From
here there are French windows to a secluded breakfast patio with views
over the rooftops to the sea. From here you can often watch the sailing
boats racing with their brightly coloured sails - hence the name of the
cottage.
On the first floor are the bedrooms and bathroom. There's
a master bedroom with king-sized bed and also a second double bedroom.
Both have storage. The bathroom is spacious, with a shower over the bathtub.
On the ground floor are utility room, large hall, garage and parking space.
The style is fresh and light using lots of natural wood
and making maximum use of the Cornish light.
The cottage is so laid out that 2, 4 people (or 6 using
the comfortable lounge sofa-bed) can feel at home. It's been enjoyed by
couples or families alike since 1999.
Spinnaker Cottage - perfectly located for Penwith's
attractions Being so close to the sea, there's plenty to explore on foot,
straight from Spinnaker's front door.
Minutes way are fine restaurants and historic pubs, the
famous Jubilee Art Deco Lido and the harbour with luxury yachts, tall
ships and of course the Scillonnian ferry for the Isles of Scilly.
You can book fishing trips from the quay and the Dive,
Sailing and Canoe clubs are also right there. The fishing village of Newlyn
with its galleries, home-made ice-cream and Pilchard Museum is a delightful
half-hour stroll away while story - book 'Mousehole' is just two miles
further on.
Whether it's Atlantic surfing you want or sandcastles
and sun, the glorious beaches of Penwith are just 10-15's minute drive
away. Spinnaker's location makes it easy to leave and return by car -
and you have your own parking.

Project, so many galleries and all those wonderful cliff walks.
