Shasta is an attractive detached dormer bungalow set in a lovely mature garden. The Annex, together with its own entrance, is located at the side of the property.

Accommodation

Fully fitted and equipped kitchen and lounge area, inc cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Comfortable Lounge with dining table, sofa, freeview TV, DVD, video player and mini Hi-Fi system.

From the lounge, patio doors lead you out to a lovely mature garden with table and chairs for you to enjoy some alfresco dining.

Set in the lovely village of Mawnan Smith with it's own 15th Century Thatched Inn, serving good food and ales, general stores, hairdresser, Italian Restaurant, restored smithy with craft workshops.

Shasta is situated close to some of Cornwall's most stunning gardens. Trebah, Glendurgan, Carwinion and Penjerrick are all within a miles radius.

Maenporth is the nearest sandy beach, approximately 1 mile away and offers car parking, café and bar. It is a good, safe bathing beach situated on the SW Coastal Path.

An area worthy of exploring is the beautiful Helford River. Shasta is an ideal base for walking the SW Coastal Path or just enjoying a gentle stroll around its many creeks with the stunning views they offer.

Falmouth is approximately 4 miles away. A traditional working harbour with individual shops, restaurants, galleries, pleasure boats, ferries and beaches.

The National Maritime Museum and a 12 lane bowling alley are always worth a visit.

Further afield within 1 hours drive are the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Easily reached is the North Cornish coast with its stunning cliffs and surfing beaches in the Newquay area. Further West is St Ives where the Tate Gallery is situated.

Directions On entering the village of Mawnan Smith, facing the front entrance of the Red Lion, take the left hand fork, passing the main shopping square into Carwinion Road. Shasta is approximately 120 yards on the right hand side with ample off road parking.
