Seaside House is a Grade II listed impressive home, situated in the heart of Downalong, St Ives. The Downalong area is popular with holiday makers due to its abundance of fisherman's cottages lining cobbled streets with a profusion of hanging baskets.

There are no hills to climb to get to Seaside House, making it an ideal base for families with small children or with elderly relatives.

Seaside House offers four bedrooms and three bathroom/shower rooms. There is an open plan dining room/living room and very well appointed kitchen. The family suite at the top of the house enjoys fine views of St Ives Bay. There is a sunny cobbled area at the front of the house with outside seating provided. Just to top it all off, parking is provided for two cars!

On arrival you can enjoy the Cornish Hamper awaiting you!

The famous Cornish resort of St Ives is loved by tens of thousands of visitors for its superb sandy beaches, its narrow bustling cobbled streets and courtyards, its glittering turquoise sea and clear air and for its friendly hospitable people.

This Mediterranean-style resort has achieved all-year-round popularity due to its warmer climate, the world famous Tate gallery, the Barbara Hepworth museum and some of the finest restaurants to be found in the South West.

Locally, you can enjoy the newly completed gym and indoor swimming pool, or perhaps the coastal path to Zennor. Bird watching can be found at the nearby protected Hayle Estuary, or further afield you can experience the Eden project, the Minack Theatre, St Michael’s Mount or even enjoy a wonderful helicopter ride over to the Isles of Scilly!

Situated in one of the prettiest streets in Downalong, Seaside House is conveniently nestled between the beaches of Porthmeor, Porthgwidden and The Harbour.

There is one parking space at the House (accessed via St Eia Street), this space is suitable for a car no larger than a Golf hatchback or similar. The second space is located in Fish Street (1 min walk away) in an underground secure car park, there is a height restriction on vehicles over 6’3”.
