It takes just a few minutes to walk into the town centre from the accommodation
where you will find a good choice of pubs restraurants and places to eat.
There is a lot to see and do in and around Bodmin and as it has always been one of Cornwalls most important towns it has quiet a history. Explore the town by foot and you will discover interesting shops, three good museums and Bodmin & Wenford Steam Railway where you can time-travel with a relaxing ride through lovely countryside.
Close by is Old Bodmin Gaol which has featured in 'Britions Most Haunted' A nature reserve, St.Petrocs church, parks and gardens. On the outskirts of the town is a Bowls Club, the Dragon leisure Centre & Swimming Pool, Lanhydrock House and Golf Club. Throughout the year there are numerouse festivals and plays performed in and around the town and county to enjoy.

Berrycombe Hill Bodmin |
200 yards from the accommodation is the Camel Trail a walking and cycle track which runs alongside rivers and streams through unspoilt countryside making Padstow and the moors safe and enjoyable destinations.
Take a pic-nic or maybe stop at a tea room set out in an apple orchard where you can enjoy sandwiches, cream teas or cakes whilst having a welcome break in the shade. Also on the trail is the Camel Valley Vin Yard. Take a guided tour and taste the award winning wines that are produced here.
The Saints Way & Sustrans route 3 links up with the Camel Trail making it possible to visit Lanhydrock House,
The Eden Project and the Clay Country Trails which have become established nature reserves. The National Espress bus stops in Bodmin and the much improved road network throughout Cornwall makes getting around easy. Car and cycle hire are available in town.
