Roswidden is a most attractive family holiday home situated on the
south cliff of Treyarnon Bay with spectacular views across the bay to
Trevose Head.
The beach is a two minute walk from the house and offers excellent
bathing and exhilarating surf.
Roswidden sleeps up to 11 people. Upstairs there are 3
double bedrooms two with double beds and one with twin beds, one shower
room and one bathroom.
Downstairs there is one further bedroom with 2 bunk beds
and a single bed, a cloakroom and a separate shower off the kitchen. The
kitchen is large and leads into the dining area. It has an oven with a
grill, fridge-freezer, 2 smaller fridges, dishwasher, toaster and kettle,
plus adequate crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen utensils.
There is a large sitting room with comfortable sofas and
chairs, a wood burning stove and a colour television dvd and video.
Adjacent to the house is the annex providing a further
living area. There are two single beds upstairs and a shower and toilet
downstairs as well as a washing machine and tumble drier. There is a large
playroom with a sofa and easy chair a television, table tennis and table
football.
The North Cornish coast is known for its beautiful walks,
where paths stretch along the coastal cliffs for hundreds of miles. Surfing,
rock pooling and fine-sand beaches are all of the finest quality you could
wish for. Life-guards supervise the major beaches and informative "do's-and-don'ts"
are well publicised.
Trevose Golf and Country Club is within easy reach with
its renowned golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pool, snooker room
and restaurant. Daily and weekly memberships are available and visitors
are welcome.
Padstow, the charming old fishing village, is nearby, and
is well worth a visit, with its narrow streets and variety of shops and
good restaurants, including the famous Seafood Restaurant.
From the harbour there is a variety of water pursuits;
mackerel and shark fishing, wind surfing and speedboats. There is also
a passenger ferry across the Camel estuary to Rock, home of the well known
sailing and water-skiing Clubs. In addition, there is St. Enodoc Golf
Club which has two excellent eighteen hole courses.
The Eden Project is a twenty five minute drive in the car
and the wonderful Lost Gardens of Helligan a little further on. There
are various National Trust Properties all most attractive and the Tate
at St Ives is worth a visit as well.
