LOCATION This is a truly wonderful spot - close to Advent Church which is known as the 'Cathedral of the Moor'. The Old Barn backs onto a dairy farm so you can hear the cows lowing as they go out & return from the fields and at night the owls hoot as you look at the incredible night sky - with stars so bright because it's really dark. Camelford is a very short drive away with shops, pubs and restaurants. Wadebridge is not much further if you're looking for more selection and supermarkets or a fancy going to the flicks in a proper old-fashioned cinema. Wadebridge is the place for cycle hire for the Camel trail to Bodmin or Padstow. All the fabulous North Coast villages and beaches are within easy reach: Tintagel, Port Isaac, Boscastle etc. Best beaches are Trebarwith Strand or Bossiney cove - a little further west are Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock. We live locally in Bodmin - so we are very close to hand if you need anything or have any problems. We run a luxury four star bed & breakfast so if you want to travel down a day early or stay a day or two longer we'd be delighted to have you stay in our beautiful Victorian town house.
