Ropers Walk Barns are situated within a small working farm, located on the fringe of the friendly village of Mount Hawke. Only 8 miles from the cathedral city of Truro and just a few minutes drive to the coast you will find us in a central position for accessing the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Within walking distance you will find a welcoming pub, serving food and local ales, well-stocked village stores, a post office, doctor's surgery, churches and a regular bus service.

The first of our barns, The Byre, has been converted to a high standard and includes the very latest under floor heating system with the addition of an electric feature fire for colder evenings and winter breaks. Heating, bed linen, duvets and towels are all included in the tariff. Cots, highchairs and pushchairs may be provided if requested at the time of booking. Outside the property you will find car parking and picturesque areas for eating and relaxing.

We have a NO SMOKING policy and do not accept dogs, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind, hearing dogs and dogs for the disabled.

The Byre has two spacious and fully furnished bedrooms, each offering a choice of a large double bed or twin beds. One room has an ensuite shower room and there is a further separate bathroom with shower over the bath. A sofa bed in the lounge provides sleeping accommodation for a further two people if required.

The living room is open plan comprising kitchen, dining and seating areas. The modern kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, electric hob, electric oven, combination microwave oven with grill and a fridge freezer. Laundry facilities including a washing machine and tumble dryer are also available. From the living area, French doors open out onto the beautiful country views.
