ROLLING SURF is a luxury 2 bed apartment with its own gardens and patio, perfect for a full on holiday or short break escape/retreat.

Just as the name implies, sight and sound of the Atlantic waves rhythmically rolling onto the expansive, soft sand beach with a backdrop either side of dramatic cliffs and heather adjourned slopes will soothe away the stresses and strains of everyday life, stirring contrasts of both zest and peace into body, souls and spirits. Arrive back after a day out, sit outside and have a barbecue, slip something in the oven or have a takeaway delivered and enjoy the beautiful idyllic sunsets......

PORTHTOWAN

Porthtowan has its own bars and restaurants including the nationally acclaimed "Blue Bar", and have several others in the near vicinity There is also a post office, convenience store, fast food shop and ice cream parlour and several surf shops.

A multitude of activities and amenities are within walking distance including beautiful coastal walks in both directions, either to Portreath, Godrevy, Gwithian, Hayle and onwards to Carbis Bay and St. Ives for the more energetic, or the alternative direction of Chapel Porth, St Agnes, Perranporth and Newquay.

Chapel Porth can also be reached at low tide, by walking along the beach. In addition to the impressive sandy beach, Porthtowan has it's own salt water natural rock swimming pool, which can offer a welcome feature to many parents and children.

Nearby, Cornwall's major attractions are all within easy reach, including many botanical gardens, i.e. Trebah and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock and of course The Eden Project.

Other attractions include Goonhilly Satellite Station, Falmouth Maritime Museum, Tate Gallery at St Ives, Lands End Resort and the Minnack Theatre - a breathtaking, open air theatre, built into the cliff and many historical buildings and landmarks.

There are also many other villages and seaside towns and resorts to visit like Mousehole, Marazion & St Michael's Mount, Watergate Bay (and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant) and Padstow, to name just a few.

FOR CHILDREN the list is endless,including Flambards, Ships & Castles, Newquay Zoo, Holywell Bay Golf and Amusement Centre and the Monkey Sanctuary at Looe, the attractions are numerous! In addition Cornwall's cathedral capital, Truro, is approximately 5 miles away. It has a lovely peaceful cathedral with some cobbled streets and a plethora of alleyways and little boutique style shops and cafes, together with a lot of the major stores including a flagship Marks & Spencer's. The river and its leisure area of Malpas is a short walk away from the city.
