RIVER VIEW B&B FOWEY WELCOME

River View bed and breakfast set in a residential area set in a lovely garden with beautiful river and sea views yet only a few minutes from the centre of town.

THE ROOMS

All the rooms are ensuite and tastefully decorated with digital tv and tea and coffee making facilities. Being in a residential area parking is easy on the road outside or at a free car park only 2 minutes along the road.

THE BREAKFAST

There is an extensive breakfast menu with all tastes catered for whether it be a hearty full English, Continental or vegetarian all served in a light and airy dining area over looking the garden.

FOWEY

The old town of Fowey has hardly changed over the years and it still retains the old world charm. Take a walk through the town and visit the wide range of individual shops or have a meal in one of the pubs or one of the restaurants all serve excellent food and if your are feeling really like a treat have a cream tea in one of the establishments. Alternatively once you have explored the town why not take a walk along the cliffs or the "Hall Walk" around the river there are wonderful views everywhere.

You can take a boat trip around the river or even catch a ferry to the nearby town of Mevagissey and maybe see a couple of dolphins along the way. Then again if you are feeling energetic hire a kayak and explore the upper reaches of the river or if you prefer just chill on one of the beaches.

Fowey is in a unique position in the centre of the south Cornish coast which means everywhere is easily accessible. The Eden Project is only 25minutes away and Heligan Gardens are also near as are numerous National Trust gardens. Lands End is only just over a hour away as is Padstow on the north coast. So Fowey is an ideal place to spend some time in Cornwall well worth a visit any many people who have found Fowey come back time after time.
