The holiday apartment is fully furnished and equipped for two people. It has views of the cove from the front window and views of the valley from the back window. This studio style self-contained apartment is personally serviced by the owners.

Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday and the tariff starts at £200 per week.

Fowey is a picturesque and historic seaport on the south coast of Cornwall, noted for its links with Daphne du Maurier and Sir Arthur Quiller Couch. It is an excellent centre for sailing.

Sheltered by St. Catherine's Point, Readymoney Cove is an attractive, safe, sandy beach. There is a fine choice of walks from here, either inland, around the estuary or along the coastal footpath. Indeed the energetic may wish to walk the 'Saints Way', a path from Fowey to Padstow (on the north coast of Cornwall). This path was trodden by the early pilgrims on their way to Fowey, who then went on by sea to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. For the less energetic, a walk through the National Trust woodlands which are adjacent to the cove, to St. Catherine's Castle is a delight. This castle is part of Henry VIII's chain of defences along the south coast. Within it's outer wall is a Victorian battery for two coastal defence guns, and earth works around the castle may be the remains of an Iron Age Promontory Fort. Many hours can be enjoyed here looking at the bewitching views from this castle.

The ancient town of Fowey is a mere 10 to 15 mins walk along the river with magnificent views of the beautiful harbour most of the way to the town quay, where boats can be hired for river and coastal trips etc.. In Fowey there is a good selection of shops and a very good choice of restaurants and eating places to suit all pockets.

Holidays in the early and late season are popular with visitors seeking relatively traffic free roads and easy access to Cornwall's many historic houses and gardens. The world famous 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' and the Eden Project are just a pleasant drive away. The mild climate appeals to walkers exploring the South West Coastal path or Bodmin Moor at almost any time of the year.
